Everything you need to go from sign-up to your first result in minutes.

Creating your account

MusEdLab uses Google Sign-In — there's no separate password to create or remember. All you need is a Google account.

Click "Sign in with Google" on the landing page or any tool page.

Choose your Google account and grant permission. We only request your basic profile and email.

You're in. Your free account is created automatically — no forms, no credit card.

Use the same Google account every time to keep your usage history and subscription status linked correctly.

Your first tool use

The best place to start is the Rehearsal Prep tool — it's MusEdLab's flagship, and using it first gives you a great sense of what the AI can do.

Go to Rehearsal Prep from your dashboard.

Acknowledge the copyright notice. You'll confirm you own or have the legal right to use the score you're uploading.

Upload a PDF of any piece of sheet music.

Describe your ensemble. Include grade level, experience, voicing/instrumentation, and any performance context. The more detail, the better the output.

Click "Analyze Music" and wait about 30 seconds for your full report.

Navigating the dashboard

After signing in, you'll land on your dashboard. From here you can:

  • Access all 8 AI tools via the Apps menu in the navigation bar
  • Jump to the Play section for music games (no sign-in required)
  • View your account and current usage at any time
  • Access this Help Center from the footer

The navigation bar is always visible at the top of the page. On mobile, tap the menu icon (☰) to expand it.

Signing out & back in

To sign out, click your name in the navigation bar and select Sign Out. Your account and usage history will be waiting when you sign back in with the same Google account.
