Welcome to MusEdLab.ai

Everything you need to go from sign-up to your first result in minutes.

Creating your account

MusEdLab uses Google Sign-In — there's no separate password to create or remember. All you need is a Google account.

Click "Sign in with Google" on the landing page or any tool page.

Choose your Google account and grant permission. We only request your basic profile and email.

You're in. Your free account is created automatically — no forms, no credit card.

Use the same Google account every time to keep your usage history and subscription status linked correctly.

Your first tool use

The best place to start is Rehearsal Prep — it's MusEdLab's flagship, and using it first gives you a great sense of what the AI can do. It lives on the Generators page alongside Lesson Plan, Warm-Up, Practice Guide, and Repertoire, so you can toggle on more than one at a time and fill in shared fields (like ensemble type) just once.

Go to Generators from your dashboard and toggle on Rehearsal Prep — add any of the other four generators to the same run if you want them too.

Acknowledge the copyright notice. You'll confirm you own or have the legal right to use the score you're uploading.

Upload a PDF of any piece of sheet music.

Describe your ensemble. Include grade level, experience, voicing/instrumentation, and any performance context. The more detail, the better the output — or load a saved Generator Preset to fill this in automatically.

Click Generate and wait about 30 seconds — Note Catcher pops up to play while you wait — then you'll land on your Results page.

Most tools follow the same pattern: describe your context → provide any needed input → get a tailored result on its own Results page, where you can copy, download, export, or regenerate it. See Writing Great Ensemble Context for tips on getting the best outputs.

Navigating the dashboard

After signing in, you'll land on your dashboard. From here you can:

  • Access all AI tools via the Apps menu in the navigation bar — Generators and Maps each combine several related tools onto one page
  • Reopen a past result for free, no credit used, from the Recent results strip at the top of the Generators or Maps page (kept for 30 days)
  • Jump to the Play section for music games (no sign-in required)
  • View your account and current usage at any time
  • Access this Help Center from the footer

The navigation bar is always visible at the top of the page. On mobile, tap the menu icon (☰) to expand it.

Signing out & back in

To sign out, click your name in the navigation bar and select Sign Out. Your account and usage history will be waiting when you sign back in with the same Google account.
