What We Collect

• Account Information: Your email address and name from Google Sign-In
• Usage Data: Number of analyses performed (to enforce limits)
• Uploaded sheet music PDFs: Temporarily, for processing only
• Session Data: Analysis results stored temporarily in your browser session

How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and manage your account
• To enforce usage limits (5 analyses per month for free accounts)
• PDFs are converted to images and sent to the Anthropic API for analysis
• To improve the service based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns

Data Retention

• Uploaded files are deleted immediately after processing (within seconds)
• Session data is cleared when you close your browser or log out
• Account data (email, usage count) is stored to manage your account
• Anthropic API automatically deletes all data within 30 days per their policy
• An automated cleanup process runs hourly to remove any orphaned files

Third-Party Services

• Google: For authentication only - we don't access your Google Drive or other data
• Anthropic (Claude AI): Processes your sheet music images for analysis. Per Anthropic's policy, data is not used for AI training.

Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring you own legal copies of any uploaded music
• We are not liable for copyright violations by users
• This tool is intended for personal educational use only

Data Security

• Files are processed in isolated temporary storage
• Secure session management protects your account

Your Rights

• You can request deletion of your account and all associated data
• You can opt out at any time by simply not using the service
